Roma secured an important 2-0 victory over visiting Hellas Verona on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Stadio Olimpico, in the fifth round of the Italian Serie A.
Artem Dovbek opened the scoring for Roma in the 7th minute, followed by Matthias Solly who added the second goal in the 79th minute, securing three crucial points for the home side.
With this win, Roma raised their tally to 12 points from five matches, climbing to second place in the league standings, surpassing Juventus, who drew 1-1 with Atalanta (reuters.com).
Meanwhile, Hellas Verona continues to struggle in the league, remaining with 3 points from five matches, and sitting in 15th place.
