“إيطاليا تكشف أكبر مصنع غير قانوني للسجائر – Italy Uncovers Largest Illegal Cigarette Factory”

من خلال عملية أمنية واسعة شملت عدة مدن شمال إيطاليا، أعلنت السلطات الإيطالية عن اكتشاف أكبر مصنع غير قانوني لإنتاج السجائر في البلاد، في خطوة مهمة ضمن جهود مكافحة التهريب والجريمة المنظمة.
وقالت الشرطة الإيطالية إن المصنع كان ينتج ملايين العلب المهربة أسبوعيًا، ويُستخدم لتهريبها داخل البلاد وخارجها، ما يشكل تهديدًا مباشرًا للاقتصاد الوطني والصحة العامة، ويؤدي إلى خسائر كبيرة في الإيرادات الضريبية.
وأضافت السلطات أن المصنع كان مجهزًا بخطوط إنتاج متطورة سرية، ومخازن ضخمة، وتم ضبط كميات هائلة من التبغ ومواد التعبئة، بالإضافة إلى معدات تصنيع حديثة. وألقت الشرطة القبض على عدد من المسؤولين عن إدارة المصنع، فيما تتواصل التحقيقات لكشف كامل شبكة التهريب المرتبطة به.
ويأتي هذا الاكتشاف في ظل جهود الحكومة الإيطالية لتشديد الرقابة على المنتجات غير القانونية وحماية المواطنين من أضرار التدخين غير المرخص به، إضافة إلى الحد من تهريب السجائر الذي يؤثر سلبًا على سوق العمل والإيرادات الضريبية للدولة.
ويشير خبراء اقتصاديون إلى أن ضبط هذا المصنع قد يوفر مئات الملايين من اليوروهات سنويًا من الإيرادات الضريبية الضائعة، كما يساهم في تقليل المنافسة غير العادلة التي تضر بالشركات القانونية العاملة في قطاع التبغ.
وأكدت السلطات الإيطالية أنها ستواصل حملاتها المكثفة ضد مصانع التهريب غير القانونية، بالتعاون مع الأجهزة الأمنية والجمركية، لضمان سلامة السوق ومكافحة الجريمة المنظمة بكافة أشكالها.

In a major security operation spanning several cities in northern Italy, authorities announced the discovery of the country’s largest illegal cigarette factory, marking a significant step in efforts to combat smuggling and organized crime.
Italian police stated that the factory was producing millions of contraband cigarette packs weekly, intended for smuggling both within Italy and abroad. This poses a direct threat to the national economy and public health, causing substantial losses in tax revenue.
Authorities added that the factory was equipped with advanced secret production lines and massive storage facilities, and large quantities of tobacco, packaging materials, and modern manufacturing equipment were seized. Several individuals responsible for managing the factory were arrested, while investigations continue to dismantle the entire smuggling network.
This discovery comes amid the Italian government’s efforts to tighten control over illegal products and protect citizens from the dangers of unlicensed tobacco, as well as to reduce unfair competition harming legal businesses in the tobacco sector.
Economic experts indicate that shutting down this factory could recover hundreds of millions of euros in lost tax revenues annually, while also reducing unfair competition in the market.
Italian authorities confirmed that they will continue intensive campaigns against illegal manufacturing operations, working closely with security and customs agencies to ensure market safety and combat organized crime in all its forms.
